IPHA was founded in 2015 by Mehmood Khan, MD and Syed Naqvi, MD.

Two experienced, highly respected hospitalists with a vision to improve the care of inpatients and provide superior service to primary care physicians and specialists who want the best for their patients.

As a result of their quality patient care and excellent service, IPHA has grown to the point that they now manage the care of patients in every acute care hospital in San Antonio and over twenty skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) in and around San Antonio.
